Everything you need to know about ordering with Yalla.
Is Yalla a subscription?+
Yes — your saved card is charged automatically every Thursday at 23:59 (UK time) for the upcoming Sunday delivery. You can edit, pause, or cancel anytime before the cut-off.
When is the cut-off?+
Thursday at 23:59 (UK time). After that, this week's order is locked and any changes apply to next week.
When do you deliver?+
Every Sunday between 4pm and 10pm.
Where do you deliver?+
Currently: Hendon, Golders Green, Finchley, Edgware, Hampstead, Mill Hill, Borehamwood, Elstree.
How long do the meals stay fresh?+
Straight from delivery they'll keep in the fridge for 3 days. If you want to eat one later than that, pop it in the freezer — it'll keep there for up to 5 months. Defrost in the fridge before reheating.
Are the meals kosher?+
Yes — every meal is prepared under the supervision of the Sephardi Kashrut Authority (SKA).
What's the difference between Medium and Large?+
Medium portions are £1 less per meal than Large. Same meal, smaller portion.
Can I skip a week?+
Yes — you can pause this week from the dashboard and we won't charge your card. Resume any time.
How is my card stored?+
Your card is securely stored by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
What happens if a meal sells out?+
If an item from your previous order is no longer available, we'll skip it from your renewal and only charge you for the meals you actually receive.
