Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Yalla Kosher's website at yallakosher.co.uk and our weekly meal subscription. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
Yalla Kosher is a kosher-certified meal preparation and Sunday delivery service for North London (Hendon, Golders Green, Finchley, Edgware, Hampstead, Mill Hill, Borehamwood and Elstree). Meals are cooked fresh weekly and delivered between 4pm and 10pm on Sundays.
2. Accounts
You must be 18 or over to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.
3. Ordering window and cut-off
Orders for any given Sunday close at Thursday 23:59 London time. You can place a first order any day. If you lock in your order before Thursday 23:59, you'll be delivered the following Sunday. After Thursday 23:59 your edits fall into the following week's cycle.
Up to Thursday 23:59 you can edit this week's order freely. After Thursday 23:59 this week's order is locked — your card has been charged and the kitchen has begun preparation — and you can only edit your order for the next upcoming Sunday.
4. Payment and weekly billing
All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. When you lock in your first order, we store your card via Stripe for the weekly charge.
Nothing is charged when you build your cart. Your saved card is charged automatically every Thursday at 23:59 for the upcoming Sunday's delivery, based on your current order. Edits up to Thursday 23:59 simply update what will be charged then — there is no immediate charge.
5. Pricing and portion sizes
Weekly meal totals are shown before checkout. The more meals you order, the lower the price per meal. Medium portions are the default; you can upgrade to large at checkout for an additional £1 per meal. Delivery is £3 per week (free for Yalla Gold members). All prices include VAT.
6. Cancelling this week's order
You can cancel a single Sunday's delivery from your dashboard:
- Before Thursday 23:59: no charge is taken for that week — we just won't include you in the Thursday-night batch.
- After Thursday 23:59: your card has already been charged and the kitchen is preparing your meals. You can still let us know you don't want the delivery, but no refund is available.
Cancelling a single week does not stop your weekly subscription.
7. Stopping weekly orders
You can stop weekly orders at any time from the dashboard. Stopping prevents the next Thursday 23:59 charge. Any order you've already paid for will still be delivered.
You can restart weekly orders at any time. We'll pre-load your last order so you can review or edit it before the next Thursday charge.
8. Yalla Gold membership
Yalla Gold is an optional £10/month membership that includes free weekly delivery and a 10% discount on the fourth meal each week. It's billed monthly via Stripe and you can cancel at any time — your benefits continue until the end of your current billing period.
9. Allergens, kosher certification and dietary notes
All meals are produced in our kosher-certified kitchen. We do our best to honour dietary notes you provide, but our shared kitchen handles common allergens. If you have a serious allergy, please contact us at hello@yallakosher.co.uk before ordering. We can't guarantee that any meal is free from cross-contact.
10. Delivery
We deliver Sundays between 4pm and 10pm. You're responsible for being available or providing a safe drop-off location. If we attempt delivery and can't reach you, we'll leave the meals at your provided address; we're not responsible for spoilage if no one is home.
11. Quality issues and complaints
If something is wrong with your delivery — missing meals, quality issues, or a meal you didn't order — please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we'll make it right. For any other complaint, email hello@yallakosher.co.uk.
12. Liability
We do not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded under English law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the total amount you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be settled exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
